Local athletes combined to garner 33 medals in the competition, including three individual gold and two relay titles.
Frackville’s Diane Lindenmuth won the girls’ 13-14-year-old 1600-meter run in a time of 5:55.02, 26 seconds ahead of the second-place finisher.
Blue Mountain’s Kyle O’Brien took first in the boys’ 13-14 long jump with a distance of eight feet, six inches. He also placed fourth in the 1600-meter run.
Blue Mountain’s Kasey Krammes surged ahead of the competition in the boys’ 9-10 200-meter dash, finishing in 31.81.
Blue Mountain won a pair of girls’ 400 relay titles. The team of Aubrey Abel, Abigail Kramer, Bethany Kramer and Gabrielle Vetrano won the 9-10 event in 1:04.91, while quartet of Allison Ebling, Shanelle Koch, Whitney Boyer and Brianna Rauenzahn took first place in the 13-14 race in 56.51.
