Jasmine Mosley, who will be a sophomore this fall at The University of South Dakota, placed in the top four in both the shot put and hammer throw at the 41st USATC Junior Olympic Track and Field Championships held at Hilmer Lodge Stadium at Mt. San Antonio College in Walnut, CA.

Mosley, who was competing for the Bellevue, NE, Breeze club squad, had a throw of 43'02'' and finished third in the shot put on Thursday. On Saturday, Mosley finished fourth in the hammer throw with a throw of 150'04. In addition, Mosley finished 12th in the discus on Friday with a throw of 121'02.

The USATF National Junior Olympic Track and Field Championships is the largest and most visible youth athlete developmental program in the world. The Junior Olympics feature the following age divisions: Bantam (10 and under), Midget (11-12), Youth (13-14), Intermediate (15-16) and Young Men/Women (17-18). Entry for this championship is based on athlete performances at preliminary, association, and regional levels of the 2007 USATF Junior Olympic Program.
