Montgomery Middle School Invitational

Description.

CSMS girls win Montgomery Invitational: MONTGOMERY - The College Station Middle School seventh and eighth grade girls both won their divisions at the Montgomery Invitational on Saturday. The seventh and eighth grade boys both finished second in their divisions.

Individually, Karis Jochen won for the seventh-grade girls and Scott Wilding won for the seventh-grade boys.

Chanler Havel (4th), Tamara Fairbanks (6th), Amanda Ness (8th), Anna Dement (9th) and Kaylee McCabe (10th) rounded out the seventh-grade girls' placements.

Kristen Bettiol (2), Kaileigh Vincent (3), Anikka Lekven (7), Lauren Cashion (10) and Cristina Clark (11) placed for the eighth-grade girls.

Gus Roman (7), Jonathan Bradford (8), Ryan Williams (20) and Jacob Dean (25) also placed for the seventh-grade boys.

Gavin Mattox (3), Tyler Phillips (4), Leonel Drukker (7), Kendall Dale (10) and Duane McDaniel (11) placed for the eighth-grade boys.


AMCMS girls win, boys take second: SOMERVILLE - The A&M Consolidated Middle School girls won the Somerville Run By the Lake on Saturday. The AMCMS boys took second.

Avery Scherr took third individually and was the top finisher for the girls. Abigayle English, Taylor McGinnis and Olga Belyanin finished 6-7-8 and Katherine Kimball was 10th. Mary Beth Keating finished 12th and Abby Lestina was 14th.

On the boys' side, Creed Flynn came in eighth place. Matt Zivney and Zach Thomas went 16-17, Alex Becker was 20th and Brandon O'Donovan was 23rd. Josh Brown and Ryan Oliveiri were 30th and 31st, respectively.
